Harvard Law School graduate
Jersey City, NJ
Public Defense Clinic
I defended four different indigent criminal defendants, including one at trial. The most rewarding experience of my life.
HLS Exoneration Legal Project
Attempted to start an innocent project at Harvard Law School. The endeavor failed on an organizational and structural level, but I learned a lot from my failures. I am proud of what I tried to do.
Associate at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher
I was a summer associate at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher in New York City from May 2011 to July 2011, and started full time in September 2012.
Lowenstein Sandler Scholar
I was a summer associate at Lowenstein Sandler through their scholars program, which is offered to one or two first year law students each year.
The money I raise will go almost exclusively to paying off my debt. Every last penny counts and moves me closer to being debt free. Less debt would allow me to take more risks, as I would no longer fear one misstep causing me to drown under my debt. Whether that risk means starting my own business or joining a startup rather than an established company, the risk is more reasonable without the added burden of student loans.
