Cash Line is a recurring, unsecured line of credit through Upstart that gives you ongoing access to cash when you need it⁶. Once approved, you can access $200–$500 —without needing to reapply.

Unlike a one-time loan or typical cash advance app, Cash Line is designed for repeated use. You can borrow, repay, and borrow again as long as your account is in good standing. Each time you take a draw, you’ll see a clear repayment amount and due date.

Cash Line also offers instant deposits¹ at no extra cost and a simple $10 monthly subscription fee, with no hidden or late fees.

Once approved, you’ll have access to a minimum of $200, and up to $500.

You can draw from your Cash Line as often as you need, and you can make multiple draws without paying off your balance first, up to your available limit.

Cash Line is designed for people who need fast, reliable access to cash. To qualify, you’ll need to meet some basic eligibility requirements such as being a U.S. resident over 18 years of age, having a valid bank account, and providing information about your income and financial history. Cash Line is currently available on iOS only. Approval is not guaranteed. 

Cash Line is not available to covered borrowers under the Military Lending Act.

Yes, you may still be eligible for Cash Line. At Upstart, we look at more than just your credit score, so applicants with limited or less-than-perfect credit may still qualify. Approval depends on your overall financial profile.

Checking your eligibility for Cash Line involves a soft credit check that will have no impact on your credit score³. In order to subscribe and open your Cash Line, a hard credit pull is required. 

Cash Line is currently not available for residents of CO, CT, DC, GA, IL, IA, LA, ME, MD, MA, NV, NH, NM, NY, TN, VT, WA, WV, or WI. Currently, Cash Line is available on iOS but not on android.

Cash Line has a simple $10 monthly subscription fee to keep your account active. There are no hidden fees, no late fees, and no extra charges for instant deposits¹.

Cash Line through Upstart is a transparent and predictable option. Unlike many cash advance apps, there are no extra fees for instant transfers and no tipping. Unlike payday loans, Cash Line offers clear cost structures and no high fees, helping you access cash with clarity and control.

Repayments are due after your monthly billing cycle closes. You can make payments at any time, as long as you make the required payment by the due date. Each draw includes a clear repayment schedule.

You can cancel your subscription anytime by visiting the subscription setting in your app profile. If you cancel, you’ll lose access to Cash Line and may not be able to reapply immediately.

You’ll still be responsible for repaying any outstanding balance you may have.
