Letter to Myself at 20
If you want someone to remember what you told them - give them three simple things. Here are my three for you.
First things first- marry that girl you're dating. I promise you, you won't regret it!
Second, take more risks. This is the best time in your life to do it! You might think that taking risks is easier a few years down the road - it's not. Everything looks risker before you take your shot than after. And in general, you will regret the risks you dont' take a lot more than the ones you do that don't work out. So stop "thinking" about those great ideas and start implementing them!
Third, be open to the unexpected. It may feel better to have a plan worked out - to know where you're going (or trying to). But some of the greatest things in life come when you're not expecting it. Make sure you're looking for the opportunities that aren't a part of the plan.
These may sound like simple things - but success in life isn't about understanding complicated things that other people don't. It's determined by executing on the simple things that everyone knows better than everyone else.
