Evan Malter is an entrepreneur with a finance and marketing background who has founded and grown a number of businesses including FingerPrint Web Design, a small web design firm that exploded into an internet marketing powerhouse. FPWD partnered with small businesses to strengthen the community of their customer base while also expanding their reach and revenues as a result. His latest venture, ZipCap (aka Zip Code Capital), combines his experiences from FPWD and work in the financial world to further his mission to save America's Small Businesses and, in doing so, the character of our communities. Utilizing current and future technology the revolutionary patent-pending system will re-engage consumers and re-invent the way that Main Street businesses access the capital they need to survive and thrive.
Along with starting and growing businesses, he has been known to pursue some of his passions. The Columbia University graduate spent many years as a play-by-play announcer for Minor League baseball and college football and basketball teams. He also moved abroad with his family and spent 6 years traveling around the world shooting fine-art photography. He runs marathons, plays golf, co-owns and manages a horse racing operation, travels and spends as much time as possible with his wife and two sons at his home near San Diego.
