Executive Assistant

Upstart is looking for a sharp, proactive, and resourceful executive assistant to support various members of our executive leadership team. This person will play a crucial role in streamlining the company’s Leadership operations, enabling the executive team to be optimally productive and perpetually prepared to tackle the next obstacle to our success.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, update, and review exec schedules - including the agenda and logistics of ad-hoc or recurring meetings
  • Communicate and coordinate with fellow Upstart employees, board members, and other executive assistants
  • Organize and manage travel arrangements and itineraries to support execs on the road
  • Work with our Office Manager to plan and execute on meetings, dinners, and events
  • Prepare and track invoices and expenses as necessary
  • Help our execs build productive relationships inside and outside the company
  • Be the professional, courteous, and unflappable personality that represents Upstart

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, with a minimum of 2-4 years experience in executive support
  • Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills
  • Trustworthy, proactive, and independent
  • Proven judgment and discretion in handling confidential info and important relationships
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong skills with Google Apps, Keynote, and other productivity tools
